For roofing firms, anywhere in the UK
I’m Tim. I spent nine months as the developer inside Prestige Roof, a roofing firm in Norfolk. I built their website, their office system and the app the lads use up on the roof.
Now I set the same system up for other roofers, and I look after it myself. You won’t be handed to a support desk, because there isn’t one.

Off the roof
Every site is built around your own jobs, photographed on the roof by the lads who did them. These are off Prestige’s roofs, and they’re all over Luke’s website.

These are live sites for working roofing firms. Click through, have a look around, and judge it the way a customer of yours would.

Dersingham, Norfolk
App and office · Website · Local SEO
Where it all started. I built the website, the office and the app from inside the firm, and it still runs every working day.

Spalding, Lincolnshire
Business app · Website · Local SEO
Run from a phone, no office. Enquiries come in off the website and the quotes go out from wherever the van's parked.

Norfolk
Website · Local SEO
The website and local pages on their own, for now. The app's sat there ready for the day they want it.
The two halves
That’s Prestige’s website, written around the roofing work Luke wants in the towns he covers. Its enquiries land in the office system already typed in, and on the phone of whoever’s pricing.
It works just as well without an office. EverCrest runs the same thing from a phone.

One roofing job, start to finish
Someone fills in the form on your site about a slipped tile or a leaking flat roof. It lands on your phone with their name, the address and what they said.
Get up there and take the photos. They save against the job with no signal, and send themselves once you're back in range.
Write your scope of works once, say a full re-roof from scaffold to sign-off. Then drop it into every quote for one and put your price against it.
The customer accepts online and you get told. If they go quiet, a follow-up goes out for you after a few days.
Book it in the diary. The lads see the address and the scope on their phones, and only the parts you've let them see.
Mark it done and the invoice is drafted, with the deposit already accounted for. If it isn't paid, a reminder goes on the due date and weekly after that.
More on the app in roofing job management software, and on the site in websites and SEO for roofers.
If you’ve tried ChatGPT
Plenty of roofers have asked ChatGPT to write a quote. It does a decent job, then it sits in a chat window.
So the system keeps the records, and AI does the jobs where it earns its place.
Write me a quote for a full re-roof on a three-bed semi. Concrete tiles, new battens and membrane.
Here’s a draft you can send:

Getting found
Customers ask ChatGPT for a roofer now, as well as Google. Sites on this system let the AI search tools read them and send people their way.
Two EverCrest enquiries, via ChatGPT.
Building
I use these tools every day to build and look after the system. It's a big part of how one person keeps the whole thing running for you.
Built and looked after by me.
From Prestige’s own system18+website enquiries every month since March
3.3×the Google impressions in August that it had in January
269–379clicks from Google every month this year

Who you’ll be dealing with
I’m based in King’s Lynn and I work with firms all over the country. I’ll look at your current site and how you price your work. Then I build it around that, and show you how it works before it goes live.
When you want a change, or something’s not right, you ring me. It’s the same person who built it picking up.
I won’t build for a firm competing in the same area as a roofer I already look after. If that’s you, I’ll tell you on the first call. If it’s not, your competitors won’t get it from me either.
Roofers usually ask
Not at all. The build and the looking after are both done remotely. We'll talk on the phone and by email, and I'll walk you through the system before it goes live.
No. The domain stays registered to you, and the new site goes live on the same address.
Yes, that's how Xcell runs. Switching the app and the office on later costs exactly what it would have from the start, and the website doesn't get rebuilt.
